History, Music & English

Kia ora,
I really enjoy researching and finding out stories behind things. This is why I was attracted to studying History. English is my first language and having a good grasp of it has allowed me to do well in History. Music is a great way to express oneself and to tell stories in a different way.

I received an A+ for music teaching in the 3rd year of my Bachelor of Arts degree. I also received a First Class Honours degree in History and a Merit for my Masters in Museums Studies degree.

Music: I have taught specifically violin in the past, and although I no longer play I still have knowledge I can share. I can teach up to Grade 3-4 ABRSM music theory and help with sight reading music in the treble clef.

English: I always did well in English at school. I can tutor high school years 7-10 (forms 1-4).

History: As I studied this at postgraduate level, I can tutor this subject through to and including undergraduate level.
